Excellence in Business Awards

FACC-SLAA is proud to recognize and honor successful and deserving businesses/organizations in our community, in order to boost their respective businesses as well as to promote confidence and Filipino pride by awarding the following:

Excellence in Business and Community Service Awards

Criteria:

  • Business is owned by a Fil-Am resident of the SouthBay Los Angeles Area Or co-owned by a Fil-Am resident of SLAA
  • Or Nominee is a major stockholder of the business
  • Business caters to Filipino-American community
  • Actively and regularly involved in service of Filipino community events
  • Demonstrates growth and achievements in business
  • Record of good and friendly customer service
  • Business preferably operating in Southbay or nearby county
  • At least 3 years in business operation

Micro Enterprise Award (2 awardees)
Sole Proprietorship

Small Business Award (2 awardees)
25 or less Employees

Mid-Size Business Award (2 awardees)
More than 25 Employees

Non Profit Organization Award (2 awardees)
Proven record of philanthropic activity and service in the Filipino community
Founder must be Filipino-American

Expectation:

  • Must be an FACC member in good standing
  • Must be present during FACC-SLAA Gala Night
  • Buy tickets, not only for self but for staff, family & friends to cheer awardee. Preferably one table or more.
  • Buy full page ads for awardee page in Souvenir Program & preferably congratulatory greetings ads from relatives & friends.
  • All monies paid prior to Gala Night
