Alex Cainglet is a local business owner with many years of professional experience. In 1995, he became the President/Owner of the Cainglet Insurance Agency exclusively with the Farmers Insurance Group. Alex was the first in his family to attend college, graduating from Los Angeles Harbor College in 1987 with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and University of Phoenix in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Before insurance, Alex worked as a Loan Supervisor at Pacific Business Bank, Assistant Vice President/Assistant manager at American International Bank, and Assistant Vice President of the Merchants Bank loans department.
Alex has been an active member of the community since his arrival in America. He is an active parishioner for St. Philomena Parish, serving multiple times as: chairperson for the annual “Simbang Gabi” celebration, a weekly Eucharistic minister, and former president of the Pastoral Council. He also served as President of the Pilipino Alliance Organization, as well as Vice President of the Filipino Community of Carson. He currently serves as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Carson and Chairman of the Philippine Independence Day Foundation.
Alex is an accomplished businessman, receiving over 50 different achievement awards from Farmers Insurance. These awards include the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table, Championship Club, and Toppers Club. In 2009, he was awarded the Certificates of Harmony Award from the Carson City Council, State Senator Jenny Oropeza and Congressman Laura Richardson.
